Woolooware Bay Medical Centre sits in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, beside the Priceline Pharmacy in the same precinct. The brief was healthcare joinery that feels considered rather than clinical — a space that puts patients at ease from the moment they walk in, and stands up to everyday use.

A warm timber reception desk with a natural-stone counter greets patients, lit from beneath so the joinery reads as a single, calm line rather than a piece of furniture pushed against a wall. Built-in banquette seating runs along the waiting area, backed by timber wall panelling, with planters and lighting integrated into the same run.

Through the practice, Marks Custom Joinery delivered consult and treatment room cabinetry in a clean white finish with timber and lit detailing — every piece drawn, built and installed for this space, working alongside builder Pelican Projects.
