This Privacy Policy explains how Marks Custom Joinery Pty Ltd (ABN 62 686 116 236), trading as Marks Custom Joinery (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the information you provide in the form:

• the project type and any details you choose to tell us about your project.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, arrange and carry out joinery work, communicate with you about your project, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for an unrelated purpose without your consent.

3. How it is stored and who we share it with

Enquiries submitted through this site are processed and stored by our website host and form provider (Netlify), and may be handled using the email and business tools we use to run the business. Some of these providers may store data on servers outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only disclose it to service providers who help us operate (bound by confidentiality), or where required or authorised by law.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Enquiry records are generally kept for up to seven years, in line with Australian record-keeping practice, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies — including third-party analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to understand how the site is used and to measure and improve our advertising.
